The Olive Tree is a self-catering tourist establishment set on a beautiful property situated on top of the hill of La Misere on the main island of Mahe in the Seychelles islands. It is 7km from the airport (20 minutes drive) and 15 minutes drive to the center of Victoria the capital.
The property has the advantage of being situated in the middle of the main island which means guests have access to different parts of the island including the north which has the busiest beach of Beau Vallon, the south and west with beautiful quieter secluded beaches.

Our Villa
The establishment consists of 1 large, 2 Bedroom, Deluxe Villa (both bedrooms has 2 king-sized bed) located on the first floor with private swimming pool accommodating up to 5 adults and/or plus 2 children (sofa bed in Lounge), and a spacious One Bedroom Apartment located on the ground floor (with 2 large twin beds which can be used a 1 bed or 2 twin beds) with its own private entrance and road access which can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child (sofa bed in room). The apartment also sits in a garden with several fruit trees with a view of the sea through the large albizia trees.

The view of the ocean never ceases to amaze with all inner islands in sight. The rear of the property borders the quiet undisturbed forest where guests can take quiet walks and enjoy the sight of wild birds nesting.
The property boasts an organic garden with a variety of exotic fruits such as bananas, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit, and more. The main house also has an enclosure with 2 young tortoises, an iconic animal in Seychelles, that can be fed and played with.

We boast friendly staff and we live on site so the guests needs can be attended to at any time whilst respecting their privacy.
We do have a special arrangement with a car hire company who will not only deliver the cars to guests at their entry point but will also guide them to the guest house and assist with carrying extra luggage. Cars may be returned at the port or airport.
We can provide evening meals to guests but only depending upon the availability of our caterer who cooks in house. There is a portable barbecue for the guests use.
We also accept children and provide cots both for babies and older children. Children up to the age of 10 stay free of charge and there is a charge of Eu20 for children above 10 or young adults. The property is very good value for the prices in view they are more spacious then normal tourist accommodation on the island at equivalent prices.
